Today I picked apples, wandered through a corn maze, and watched a car explode.

The more I think about it, the more I realize just how excited I am to move back home.

I managed to fall off a grain elevator last night. I'm still in shock from the whole ordeal.

Tonight marks the end of the craziest nine day period of my life. I'm left speechless.
I've never had so much fun in my entire life. How much longer is this going to end?!

My knees are bruised and swollen to insane proportions. Time for more ice, then sleep.

I just realized why I am so scared to move back to Wisconsin. I guess it makes sense.

Don't... forget to bring your own... JAGERMEISTER!

Yesterday was probably one of the best days of my life. I can't honestly say I made the most sensible decisions ever, but I don't regret any of them. You're only young once... live it up! However, I think that may be the last of my crazy adventures for awhile. Actually, never mind... the canoe trip is next weekend.

T minus thirteen days until Wisconsin. It's more bittersweet than you can imagine.

Today I went shopping downtown and got a new Tegan and Sara CD. It's awesome.

I just ran about two miles in my neighborhood in Omaha. Not too impressive, eh?
Well, I ran these two miles up and down some decently steep hills. Not bad, right?

But, I ran those two hilly miles on after waking up at 7:15 AM, on five hours of sleep.
And after driving over eight hours to get here, only taking a shopping interlude.

It's 10:39 PM. Even though I feel completely drained, it's good to be back in Nebraska.
Omaha people-- hang out with me in the next couple of days. I want to go to the zoo.

I'm starting to have some mixed up feelings about moving back to Springfield tomorrow.
I hate living two places. No matter where I go, I'm always missing people I care about.

I'm not at all religious, but I have a lot of faith in everyone and everything right now.
Maybe I am naive, but I really do believe things will always work out for the best.

Tonight will be lots of fun, but when all is said and done, I bet I cry at least once.

Today I learned how to balance a spoon on my nose. It's a good skill to have, I think.

I pretty much had one of the coolest/most intense weekends ever. It was so worth it.

On Friday I painted and hung out with Robbie. It was certainly an interesting night.
Bars in Wisconsin won't even let you in to eat if you are under age 21. That's dumb.

Saturday we went to Chicago. We went to Wrigley Field and ate a ton of hot dogs.
Then Robbie, Carl, and I went to go see Leftover Crack + The Subhumans. It was rad.

On Sunday we drove back to Wisconsin. Robbie ended up staying with me a third night.
It was awesome. We achieved our goal and made a dream I had years ago come true.

Yesterday I went on an adventure that I don't want to talk about. Passed out at 9 PM.
Oh, and just for the record, I don't like pills at all. Seriously. They'll fuck you up.

Pictures of Carl, Robbie, Jeff, and I hanging out on Clark Street in Chicago.Collapse )

Thursday I kicked Amanda's ass in jello-wrestling. Unfortunately, I still smell like lime.
